Ford Aussie Hoops

Your role as a local association is to help us grow our great game, and through our Local Centre partnerships, we aim to provide the most current marketing, administration and coaching resources to our Ford Aussie Hoops Centres supporting them to achieve that.

Our goal is to develop local associations and other affiliated providers to establish an effective and consistent participation pathway at an introductory level, and we are confident that Ford Aussie Hoops is the most effective program to transition new 5-10 year old participants into local competitions during 2018 and beyond.

Mojo Sport App

Basketball Australia is proud to announce its landmark new international partnership with MOJO – an award-winning LA-based App – which will transform the way young players, coaches, parents and administrators connect with Ford Aussie Hoops. With more than 50,000 participants and 1,000 coaches in the Aussie Hoops community, this free, innovative sports platform will be a one-stop-shop for Basketball Australia’s premium introductory program for five-to-ten-year-olds.
For coaches, it will provide everything from highly produced skills and drills videos, easy-to-use practice planners, educational content, simplified team management tools and the ability to add notes and adapt drills specifically for their team.
For young Ford Aussie Hoops and their parents, they can also access skills and drills videos to help elevate their game at home, safely and easily communicate with their coach via the messaging function and earn exclusive Basketball Australia achievements and badges through MOJO’s innovative player card feature.
Launched in February 2021, the MOJO platform has been used by more than five million families and 25,000 organisations involved in youth sports in 178 countries around the world including the NBA, MLB, MLS, NFL FLAG, and US Youth Soccer.

Capacity to act as an endorsed deliverer of the Ford Aussie Hoops program through Sporting Schools (where the Centre is delivering a modified Aussie Hoops program with approved resources), and the associated benefits with this endorsement.
